About me

I was born in San José, Costa Rica in 1964 and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina since 2005. I studied Graphic and Advertising Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Costa Rica. I worked in mass media: radio, television, and graphic design in my country. I executed visual communication projects for different NGOs, popular dance school, music record distributor and concerts of outstanding musical groups in Costa Rica and Central America. As a graphic designer, I have worked on covers and illustrations for books and magazines that were published in Argentina, Costa Rica, Spain and Colombia.

I started watercolor technique with the Costa Rican teacher José Luis López Escarré and expanded the desire to discover, understand, create and strengthen the mixture between water and ink following the teachings of Argentine professor Vladimir Merchensky.

My watercolor artwork goes hand in hand with experimentation and in their creation, different materials are lodged that provide rupture, insinuation, strength, lecture, gaze and movement.

I belong to the Association of Argentine Watercolourists.
