GARY M. MANALO
Gary Montes Manalo is a proud Filipino a Samarnon, born with passion and dedication in arts from Calbayog City, Western Samar Philippines. He is a versatile in different style and medium but moving into contemporary artist discovering impressionism or loose style of approach in watercolor it appear fragmented and fluidity of pigments. His techniques are more developed and modern than the traditional style. His works were deeply influenced by the Filipino and foreign life, culture, tradition, and beautiful scenarios. His works as a Computer-Aided Design Specialist and 3D Visualizer in Bahrain. When he was still in the Philippines, he attended and facilitated some seminar and art workshops. He also participated numerous art exhibitions. Manalo was a Grand Champion in National Postage Stamps Design Contest of International Year of Rice in 2004 given by the United Nations Information Center for the Philippines. For him, "Art as a passion is a product from creative imagination".
