About me
Hello dear frends
Art is an important part of my life. I used to work in oil painting, but recently got into watercolor, and this is one of my first experiences with the watercolor community.
I live and work in northern Norway above the Arctic Circle. The Northern Lights and Sami- the reindeer herders of the north, give me a lot of inspiration.
I admire the northern lights, mountains, wild harsh nature.
The main theme in my work is the fusion of man with animals - reindeer. I want to reflect in my work the beauty and dynamics of nature... which is perfect, but often transient and changeable. I'm trying to show this, and I'm sure watercolor is the best technique for conveying light and shadow in Nothen's light dance.
I have participated in several solo exhibitions in Finnmark.
Many of my works have been sold and are in public and private collections both in Norway and around the world.
Sincerely yours
Tatiana Nilsen
