About me
I'm Priya Bajaj, an artist from Mumbai, India. I started my journey in art back in the year 2000. It started as a hobby when I took interest in sketching and enjoyed the process only to realize that it was quite natural to me.
Not having any formal art education, I started exploring various mediums and practiced more with charcoal and oils.
In 2011 , I tried watercolor medium and loved it due to its unique magical quality. Watercolour gives me an opportunity to paint expressive figures and portraits. It also allows me to give the right emotion and depth to the painting with spontaneous brush strokes and bright colors.
The pandemic truly was a Blessing in disguise for me to hone my painting skills and learn new techniques.
It’s a beautiful journey and I have a long way to go. I have been part of a couple of group exhibitions.
