Born in 1956 in Harbin, Manchuria
Studied art under Caucasian Russians and Chinese
Traveled to Russia frequently in his 20's and received training in Russian art
1977 Joined Mainichi Newspaper Co.
1988Established Koetsudo, a calligraphy supplies specialty store
2019The 1st Koetsudo Painting Exhibition at Ginza Gallery Art Museum
2019《Nichizo-Ten》First time exhibiting small works, awarded Grand Prix
2021Received the Grand Prize of "Nizo Exhibition".
2021 Gold Brush Prize at Malaysia International Art Exhibition
2021Invited to participate in the Watercolor Exhibition held in Beijing 798 Art District
2022Held the 2nd Koetsu Painting Exhibition at Ginza Gallery Art Museum

When I was a student, my art teacher was a Caucasian Russian. Because of his influence, I was interested in Russian art.
I was fascinated by Russian art and longed to be a part of it. I learned opaque watercolor (gouache) while painting stage backgrounds in the same theater company as my father.
I have spent my childhood learning through processes such as ink painting, watercolor, and oil painting.
 He was just under 20 years old and had no money to spare, but he traveled to Russia many times, visiting art museums day in and day out.
I spent my days visiting art museums and studying Russian art under the guidance of the Russian art masters. In my time, I did not have the opportunity to go to university.
I did not have the opportunity to go to university in my time, but the Museum of the World Art Museum is my university. I still haven't graduated.I still haven't graduated.
