Having had a keen interest in the fine arts from a very tender age, I went on to study commercial art in school and did my diploma in Textile Designing and Computer Designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi, getting a tag of an outstanding student and a scholarship award fro my performance.I started out with designing cover pages for comics and then joined the textile industry as a Textile Designer and worked in it for 20 years.Currently, I work as an art teacher associated with a reputed art material company.
Also, I prefer for my paintings to look as realistic as suits the occasion, so I always try to go for the most realistic pictures to translate into paintings, because it becomes so much more interesting and enjoyable if the painting seems alive. And for this very reason, I have a special liking towards painting portraits, of people and animals.
Honestly, That’s a thing in a lot of professions, that you never stop learning. So I make an effort to study the works, techniques and teachings of other artists, famous or not, and how they go about producing their needed effects in their art works, Some people believe that art is god–gifted and you need to have a knack for it and I entirely share that belief, though studying it and practicing can also get you pretty far. What matters at the end of the day is that you enjoy it and love it, and that you do it with your heart.
