"FabrianoInAcquarello" is the Watercolour International Convention held in Fabriano, the italian city in Marche Region that gave birth to paper in Europe.
The convention was started in 2010, when the first edition was organized with an elite of Iitalian artists.
FabrianoInAcquarello has then grown exponentially to became international meeting point of watermedia painting on paper and focus place of comparative competences for Italian and international art communities.
FabrianoInAcquarello was born in conjunction and to support the "Marche d'Acqua Prize" the competition prize held every two years together with the Paper Museum; FabrianoInAcquarello is however organized with the format of a year international convention with a range of collateral and preparatory events concerning watercolor that are hold during the whole year in the city of Fabriano as well as in the many partner countries all over the world.
FabrianoInAcquarello involves an international artistic community estimated in 800.000 units in the world and it is intended to be an appointment to meet artists, collectors, professionals, students, the public and those people interested in watermedia painting, without any competition.
The City of Fabriano, a medieval town located in the hills area of the Marche Region, is the best place to welcome the convention in a place that has preserved enogastronomy together with territorial beauties, and is therefore an attractive place for the kind of Art sensibility.
FabrianoInAcquarello, is absolutely inclusive of artists and non-profit, it has became in the years an event that is an opportunity for discussion and motivation to learn technique and creativity.
