Maikki Parkkila

I am a watercolour artist from Finland.  I love watercolors very much.  I´ve   been following the rewarding path of watercolors for 25 years, painting, teaching and making also numerous watercolour illustrations, e.g. poetry books , etc. For me, watercolor is a tool for artistic expression. You can always learn something new in watercolor. It`s fascinating. I get inspiration from nature, my garden or my imagitation to create atmospheres, light, beauty.  My paintings have represented  Finland in many international exhibitions worldwide. I feel that  watercolor is like a common language among all watercolorists all over the World.

thank  for your  interest
