Country: Switzerland
About me
I've bean painting since I was about 10. In my teens I had been taking courses with Akeyla Golay who had an art school in the old town of Geneva, Switzerland. I've been learning to paint with oil, pastel, sharcoal, and finally watercolour that was my favorite.
Throughout my adult life, I have been painting in watercolour, mostly self-taught, although I had been attending many workshops.
Since 2016, I've been involved in the Urban Sketchers movement, and, having found no Urban Sketchers group in Geneva, I decided to start one. That same year I went to Manchester for the International Symposium of Urban Sketchers.
During the symposium in Manchester, I met with Lalita Rochanakorn who was the Swiss country leader for Fabriano in Aquarello that I attended the next year, as well as Krystyna Szczepanowski who also met Lalita in Manchester and has now succeeded to her as the Swiss country leader.
Since then, I've attended every installation of Fabriano in Aquarello, except in 2025 because I had been organizing the Swiss Symposium of Urban Skechers that was held in Geneva in September 2025.
I'm back in Bologna for the 2026 installation of Fabriano in Aquarello, and I'm very happy about it.
