About me
Pernilla Carlsson draws most of her inspiration from the enchanting landscapes of Värmland, channeling its natural beauty into her paintings with a slightly abstract touch and a mystical ambiance. Her creative process is free and intuitive, using tools such as brushes, fingers, wire, and knives to craft a deeply personal artistic expression.
Through her art, Pernilla aims to evoke a sense of calm and tranquility, offering viewers a moment of peace and reflection. She hopes her work provides a serene space where thoughts and emotions can rest in something soothing and harmonious.
“For me, art is an incredible source of relaxation and a meditative experience that creates a balance between my outer and inner worlds. In the magical realm of creativity, I rediscover the sense of security, balance, and strength within myself. Listening inward has become my compass in life.”
Pernilla’s journey has taken her beyond Sweden, with exhibitions in cities such as Paris, Cannes, and Luxembourg, where her work has been warmly received. Each of these experiences has enriched her artistic path and broadened her perspective on the transformative power of art.
With a distinctive style rooted in emotion and nature, Pernilla's works invite you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the beauty of the present moment.
