Artistic biography.
Born in the Cartago Costa Rica center, she lived there until she was 20 years old.
She currently lives in San José, Costa Rica.
Artistic Painter.
He studied at the Casa del Artista, graduated in Graphic Arts (COVAO Cartago), worked in advertising in art, design, illustration, photo retouching and supervisor of advertising prints in all media, Advertising and Marketing at the Universidad Latina, Web Design at the National University of Costa Rica.
Since I was 10 years old, I have taken painting lessons at the Artist's House with the Artists, Rosa María Portugués and Ricardo Morales and with Fernando Carballo among others.
His favorite themes in his work are the human figure that interacts with his environment within an environment with a lot of fantasy, all this through an infinite range of colors and shapes.
The strong color finely attenuated with transparencies and combinations make his work a piece full of life and color.
This often makes the observer communicate to the artist that he feels transferred to a place where he is immersed and participates in that work.
The treatment of his technique, handling of color and his washes in oil, acrylic or watercolor, give an effect to his characters that make them look different, attract the attention of the viewer and captivate him.
The first thing the viewer mentions when seeing his artistic work are expressions such as; (How colorful, what atmosphere, what expression of more interesting characters, those eyes, their hands etc.)
His art has evolved over the years, from the landscape to the figurative, where the abstract figurative is now the style that is appreciated, with much maturity both in its style and in its concept.
