Dr. Vandana Malhotra is an Indian Artist currently working from Chandigarh. She is Doctorate (PHD) in Applied Arts from renowned BHU, Varanasi. She is an artist and Art Educaionist, who belives in sharing the joy of art. Her creativity knows no boundaries and her artistic career can be easily divided into three phases, which are Figurative, Flowers and Abstract. She is a passionate artist, her main source of inspiration for watercolors comes from nature whose calm, peace, fragrance and beauty rejoices her soul, and this is the joy she reflects on the canvas. A look at her work gives positive and optimistic energy & gives hope in life. Her paintings are her soul’s calling, her joy, her peace, her faith in life and hope for future. These qualities of her has made her a proud recipient of rewards & recognition both at National & International level.She is actively participating in more then 70 national & above 20 international Group exhibitions & 4 Solo Exhibitions. One of her recent work is proudly hangs in the house of Princess Khendum Dorji , Aunt of King of Bhutan ,her other works have now found home in Gurgaon, Delhi,Chandigarh and other cities in India & even countries like Morocco, Albania, ,Ecuador, UK, Italy, Bhutan ,Spain and USA
