“Painting is my worship service. It is my expression of love for Latvia’s nature. Nature holds everything – sadness, delight, joy and disappointment, even the presence of an angel. Nature makes one sense a deeper meaning of things. When you confi de in nature, you can feel eternity
and sense the way to revelation.” (Ligita Caune)
Ligita Caune’s paintings prove that she is a lyricist and idealist. She is especially sensitive in capturing refl ections of water, motives of trees and foggy meadows.
