About me
Hello.
My name is Natalia and I come from Ukraine.
I am fascinated by nature and its perfection. Its beauty and subtlety are what attract me the most. I love drawing and observing plants since my childhood. After an education in the school of drawing and natural sciences, I decided to combine these two disciplines and become a botanical artist and illustrator.
I am a watercolour painter, graphic artist, and calligrapher.
Member of the American Society of Botanical Art (ASBA).
I can't imagine my life without painting, I am a full-time artist. I work in a variety of media - watercolor, ink, colored and graphite pencils, and charcoal.
Since June 2020 I have been working as a teacher and course writer at the School of Botanical Watercolour "Spirtus Art".
Since 2019 I have been running collaborative online Watercolour painting marathons in which over 5000 people from all over the world have already participated.
I am a regular participant in international exhibitions and competitions. In the last year 2021 alone, I participated in 4 international exhibitions. A very important event for me this year was the American Sosiety Botanical Artist ASBA 'Dare to be Square' exhibition where my work was awarded and sold.
In my work I explore the depths and subtleties of the relationship between nature and man. I invite the viewer to experience the beauty of the world around them, to discover its perfection and subtlety from the vein in a eucalyptus leaf to the curve in a rose petal.
Over the past 8 years I have written more than 2000 works.
Many of them are in private collections in America, Germany, England, Russia and Ukraine.
Thank you for taking your time to visit my profile page and it's a pleasure to meet you.
