About me
I live south of Berlin in Germany. After my studies in education and a family phase, I devoted myself more and more to art. My artist name is ELIA. Watercolor painting is my life. Even if I was sometimes in other techniques on the road, so I always came back to watercolor painting. I like to leave open all avenues of creativity and expression. My paintings are very different for this reason. For more than 20 years I have worked independently as a painter and have already made many solo exhibitions in the regional and international area. In recent years I have been to Lisbon, Ulm, Zurich, Rome or Florence, for example, and I am represented in many catalogs on contemporary art. I love to pass on my love for this technique in my own painting school in my studio and work as a freelance lecturer in painting. Since 2003 I worked together with M. Mietke and the Silberschnurverlag as author and illustrator for the book "The Reiki Message". I have also worked with the Genius publishing house. In the seclusion of the 2020 and 2021 pandemic, I asked myself what this situation does to us. How can we use the time positively. I continued to work on my new book with card set, the project "For Your Sake." It is essays on the way to yourself. I painted 78 wonderful watercolors and created cards quite intuitively, with the help of which you can find your subject on the way to yourself. In the accompanying book, each user can find his own answer to deep inner questions of his life. It is expected to be published in 2022.
