Vera Maria Chalmers

Sou Vera Chalmers nasci no Rio de Janeiro mas vivo e trabalho em São Paulo. Ainda muito jovem trabalhei no atelier de Nelson Nobrega ,onde fiz minha formação.Depois frequentei o curso livre da FAAP. Meu aprendizado de gravura deu-se no atelier do Museu Lasar Segall.A seguir no MAC e finalmente trabalho hoje no atelier de gravura do Sesc Pompéia sob a direção de Evandro Carlos Jardim.  Trabalho na aquarela desde o início da minha formação. 

I am Vera Maria Chalmers  i was born in Rio but i live in São Paulo.As a yong artist i worked in the atelier of Nelson Nóbrega.Later I attended  the free course at FAAP. I started engraving at the Lasar Segall Museum and then at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the MAC. Actually I do my engraving at the atelier of Sesc Pompéia under the direction of Evandro Carlos Jardim.   I have been working with watercolor since the beginning of my work as an artist
