About me
Leticia Morrongo Sanabria, I'mm a retired teacher from the State of Mexico. Since 2019, my heart and brushes have found their home in art; proudly, I belong to the watercolor workshop "Pastor Velázquez" at the Watercolor Museum of the State of Mexico, under the wise direction of Mr. Benito Nogueira Ruiz. I'mm also an active member of AMAEM.
My watercolors have shone on notable stages. At the 30th Festival of the Three Cultures in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, in 2023, my colors painted the canvas of the "International Watercolor Exhibition Mexico Landscape and Tradition." It was a journey through my vision of the Mexico I love. In Ocoyoacac, State of Mexico, I celebrated International Women's Day with the "Women in Watercolor Exhibition."
My works, as ambassadors of the Mexiquense color, moved in the "Collective Exhibition The Mexiquense Color Moves" in Santiago de Querétaro in 2023. But my art don’t knows limits. Online, I was part of the IWS Azerbaijan, sharing my creativity in the Exhibition for the International Watercolor Day in 2023. My brushes also participated in the intriguing world of "Art Mail" from 2019 to the present consecutively.
My art has been my passport. Ecuador was the setting for the "International Festival Exhibition Dialogue between Watercolor and Ink" in 2023. I also united two nations with my brush in the "Collective Watercolor Exhibition Two Nations United by the Sea" in Toluca, State of Mexico, in 2021. I don't forget my roots; "Rescuing its Charm" in Villa del Carbón in 2020 and "Thousand Visual Artists in Small Format" in the same year were moments to share my essence.
In the 9th Festival "We Are All Skull," my colors dance with death. "Encounters with Light, Alternative Paths," my latest pictorial journey.
From Sonora in 2020 to every corner my watercolors have touched, my art, my story, and my love for Mexico have left a mark. My creative journey remains a fascinat
