Marina Martinelli was born in São Paulo (1944) where she lives and works.
Graduated in plastic arts at the Faculty of Arts Santa Marcelina and Didactics at PUC SP, in 1968 and post graduated in watercolor in 2001, at the Faculty of Arts Santa Marcelina.
Painter, (watercolor and Batik) and engraver. She started engraving and watercolor with Iole Di Natale, batik with Kasuco Abe, also participated in philosophical studies on art with Prof. Dr. Sergio Lima.
Since 1999, she has met artists from the Angatuba Group monthly in her atelier, for studies and reflections on art and artistic making.
This group also promotes exhibitions in which it exhibits its works.
Marina has been a member of the Nucleo de Aquarelistas, ABA, since 1987 and was Vice President of ABA Núcleo, 2007-2015.
She has participated in several individual and collective exhibitions of watercolor, batik and metal engraving, in Brazil and abroad.
She has works in private collections and in national and international museums.
Awarded at the 1st International Quadrienal de Aquarela in São Paulo, 2003.
