Barbara Dabrowski

Barbara Dabrowski love of painting was interrupted by a 30 year career in environmental engineering. Retirement has allowed for watercolor lessons from local artist Sonia Mocnik at the West Vancouver Community Center and intensive online practice following Billy Showell, botanical artist based in the UK. Barbara enjoys photographing flowers in her garden and interpreting them in the watercolor medium. She prefers honey-based Sennelier watercolors for their smooth dispersion quality and paints on French Arches 140lb or Italian Fabriano Artistico 300lb weight papers.
