Valentina Belli

I am an environmental engineer from Milan, Italy, working on the issues of energy efficiency in construction and, for a couple of years, an aspiring self-taught artist.

Living here in Italy has made me a lover of all forms of art, from painting to music, cinema to architecture; everything is a source of inspiration.

I recently fell completely in love with watercolor, in particular with the transparency and brightness that it manages to render to colors. 

My favorite subjects are portraits of people that strike my curiosity; the model I use most often is my son Francesco, but I'm always looking for new people to paint.
