Ricardo Ernesto López Escobar
Salvadoran painter, illustrator and watercolorist. He was born in 1976, in San Salvador. He studied Vocational Baccalaureate in Haute Couture and Design at the Francisco Menéndez National Institute. He studied undergraduate degrees in Plastic Arts at the National University of El Salvador and Graphic Design at the Technological University and Don Bosco University. He studied drawing and painting with the Masters: Isaías Mata, Héctor Hernández, Alfredo Catalán, Pedro Acosta and Milton Pocasangre. Digital illustration and Concept Art studies at the WIP Academy of El Salvador. He has participated in various group exhibitions in which include: Exhibition "Our roots", with the Metamorfosis Collective, National Theater, San Salvador, 1996. EXPRESSIONS IN WATER AND COLOR, Forma Museum, San Salvador, May 2014. Exhibition Reviews, virtues and longings. Embassy of Mexico, San Salvador, December 2017. The Fabriano In Acquarello 2020, Milan, Italy. Recognitions: First place in the Fast Painting Contest of the Forma Museum, 2019 and honorable mentions.
