My painting stems from a desire to see the everyday as if for the first time. In each watercolor, I try to evoke a sense of estrangement—a distance that allows me to rediscover the familiar in a new light.
Architecture taught me to observe space; watercolor, to let light transform it. Between these two disciplines, I find a balance between structure and fluidity, between the concrete and the poetic.
