HENNY TONNAER discovered the joy of watercolor painting after a career as a primary school teacher and as a concert singer and singing teacher. As a member of the AIB and the "Koppenclub", she paints to her heart's content in the open air, preferably natural landscapes, and every week she portrays the models who are tempted to pose by the members of the Koppenclub themselves.
She received her training from Helen Brouns, teacher at the "Atelier Drawing School". She also followed the Betty Edwards training, which uses the creative powers in the right hemisphere.
Every other year, Henny exhibits a selection of her recent work in Melick's Old Town Hall.
