About me
Alongside painting I enjoy walking, especially in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. I try and recreate the atmosphere and feelings experienced in the landscape. I am quite happy to sketch and paint when the weather can be inclement and if the wind and rain shapes the painting it doesn't matter. It is part of being there. I tend to paint quickly.
I try and complete any painting as soon as I return because I feel that the scene will look fresh and vibrant.
