About me
Good day!
My main interest in drawing is to preserve the beauty of nature. I like to pay attention to how the colors of everything around change depending on the sunlight and sky conditions. These sometimes create ethereal colors, say when at home there was a strong frost, the colors of sky and light become extremely bright, or when I traveled sough and latitude changed, there was plenty of pink at sunset time.
Sometimes one can see breathtaking beauty if one pays attention.
Currently my main subject of interest is to express these ideas in flowers. Flowers have delicate forms that are never repeating, they also have petals that sometimes catch the light, sometimes let it is pass through, sometimes reflect it, so with great attention I can find there a whole rainbow of colors.
I do my best to show these in my watercolors, as watercolors are also a medium that depends on light reflecting from white paper though the paint. For that reason I try to paint whenever possible in one layer to keep the drawing as light as possible.
