About me

Silvia Nora Leali was born in December 1959 in a rural area of ​​San Eduardo, Santa Fe Province, Argentina.

She lived in Buenos Aires from 1969 to 1982. From then until 2024, she lived in the city of Villa María, and currently resides in Villa Nueva, Córdoba Province.

In 2020, she began taking painting classes with Adriana Zabala, which she continues to this day.

In 2021, she began taking adult drawing and painting workshops at the Emiliano Gómez Clara Higher School of Fine Arts, and is currently enrolled in two workshops.

That same year, she took online courses with Verónica Petrina, including Watercolors from Scratch and Color Theory, Botanical Watercolor, Freehand Rose Painting, and Advanced Rose Painting.

Since 2021, she has been taking watercolor portrait courses with the Chilean artist Isabel Guzmán.

Since that date, he has taken various online painting courses through the Domestika community.

From 2022 to the present, he has been taking online courses with watercolorist Goyo Barja.

From 2023 to the present, he has been participating in online workshops with Argentine watercolorists.

He has also taken online courses with Spanish watercolorist Pablo Rubén López Sanz and with watercolorist Vicente García Fuentes.

He participates in landscape painters' gatherings and in the seminars and workshops offered at these events by various national and international artists.

At the gathering held in Villa Nueva (Córdoba) in 2022, he received a special mention in the amateur category and participated in the watercolor seminar led by watercolorist Eduardo Angelini at the same event.

At the gathering held in Ticino in 2024, he won third prize in the amateur artist category.

And in 2025, she received a special mention at the Ticino meeting.

Her first exhibition was organized by Adriana Zabala, where she exhibited alongside all the students from her workshop at La Medioteca in the city of Villa María from November 17th to 24th, 2022.

In November 2023, after taking an artistic photography course with Professor Melanie Dealbera, she held an exhibition at the extension institute of the University of Villa María.

In June 2024, she participated, along with other students from the workshops at the Emiliano Gomez Clara School of Fine Arts, in an exhibition curated by Professor Malena Casasnovas at the Usina in the city of Villa María.

In June 2025, she participated in a group exhibition with three other watercolorists at the Usina in Villa María.

In July of this year, she participated in a competition and exhibition held at the Regional Painting Salon of the Fernando Bonfiglioli Municipal Museum of Fine Arts.

In September 2025, she won third prize in the intermediate category at the 8th Argentine Watercolorists Competition. The award-winning work was exhibited from September 26 to October 12 of that year at the Pepe Soriano Municipal Theater.
