I am a watercolor artist from Finland who works with symbolism and the imagery that rises from dreams and stories for example. In my paintings, I create a dialogue between the inner and outer worlds, allowing intuitive impressions to guide my visual language. During the summer, I paint plein air at my seaside retreat in the Finnish archipelago, where the shifting light and quiet landscapes deepen my connection to nature. Through soft washes of color and recurring motifs, I try to transform subconscious experiences into poetic narratives that invite reflection.
In addition to my artistic practice I work as a mental health teacher at the university of applied sciences and as a mental health practitioner and a poetry therapist also.
Over the years I have been training art at several art courses and workshops and I took a 2-year Art school also. I discovered Watercolour about six years ago and since then it has become an integral part of my life in many ways. I have held a few solo and duo exhibitions and have had an opportunity to present my work in several group exhibitions. I am a member of Finnish Watercolour society.
