Born in Kuala Lumpur in 1980 and raised in Klang, Tham Ze King received his early art training at Hin Hua Independent High School’s Art Stream (1996–1998) before studying Fine Art at the Kuala Lumpur College of Art, graduating with a Fine Art Diploma in 2001.
After relocating to Heeren Street within the Melaka UNESCO World Heritage Site, he co-founded Tham Siew Inn Artist Gallery with his family and established his seal engraving and jewellery workshops. In addition to seal engraving, he focuses on portrait painting, experimenting with diverse media and techniques to capture character and personal expression. His works have been exhibited across Asia and Europe.
