About me
Hello! I'm Chiara and I live in Aosta Valley (NW border of Italy). I’m a civil engineer working as cableway installation safety supervisor. I love mountains very much in every season for their colors, but most of all for the strength, majesty, power, silence and freedom I feel when I am in front of them, and all this gives me joy!
I started painting in 2012 following some lessons of the master Pasqualino Fracasso, who lives in the same beautiful Valley ... and the watercolour world has fascinated me! Since then, and especially in the last two years, I have tried to improve my skill, following courses and workshops of italian and foreign masters and participating in some national and international contests. I'm looking for my style, although I really think the secret is never stop applying and looking out for the new.
So I met new artists and people became friends, despite the physical distance among us (sometimes thousands of kilometers!). I believe this also is one of the magical powers of the watercolour, and I can no longer stay without!
