About me
Nací en Ibagué, capital musical de Colombia, inicié con la acuarela en el 2023, aunque desde niño siempre dibujo y de manera constante estudio a grandes artistas contemporáneos nacionales y extranjeros, y he tomado talleres con algunos de ellos.
En los últimos años he participado en exposiciones colectivas a nivel nacional, lo que me ha permitido mostrar mi arte; trabajo en mi estudio y al aire libre, esforzándome por aprender tanto técnica como compositivamente y evolucionar para hacer lo que me apasiona, ya que me encanta combinar y experimentar la acuarela clásica y tradicional con síntesis, abstracción, colores y diferentes materiales.
Considero que es necesario conocer las reglas a fondo para ir más allá, busco transmitir emociones y atmosferas, capturar visiones que a través de formas, luces y colores cautiven al espectador.
I was born in Ibagué, the musical capital of Colombia. I began painting with watercolors in 2023, although I've always drawn since childhood. I constantly study the work of great contemporary artists, both national and international, and have taken workshops with some of them.
In recent years, I've participated in national group exhibitions, which has allowed me to showcase my art. I work in my studio and plain air, striving to learn both technically and compositionally, and to evolve in order to do what I'm passionate about. I love combining and experimenting with classic and traditional watercolor techniques, incorporating synthesis, abstraction, colors, and different materials.
I believe it's essential to thoroughly understand the rules to go further them. I seek to convey emotions and atmospheres, capturing visions that captivate the viewer through forms, light, and color.
