About me
I am a largely self taught Queensland based Realist/Impressionist artist and have been painting for over 25 years. As a previous owner of a garden centre, my inspiration often comes from nature, plants & wildlife and my love of travel & photography provides me with ongoing subjects to paint.
As well as painting Watercolour on traditional cotton papers, I love the unique texture painting on rice paper provides. Whites can be saved using hot wax, which is often a challenging process, but rewarding when mastered.
I have received multiple art awards over the years and commenced teaching Watercolour ten years ago & incorporate this wonderful medium with botanical printmaking in my workshops.
