About me
Sergey Sergeyevich Aldushkin was born in 1967 in the village of Moroskino, Republic of Mari El.
In 1986, he graduated from the Yoshkar-Ola Art College.
From 1990 to 1996, he studied at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, in the faculty of Easel Painting, in the studio of Academician V.M. Sidorov.
In 1995, he completed an internship at the International School of Arts in Aix-en-Provence, France. Since 1997, he has been collaborating with the "Zolotoy Ples" ("Golden Ples") gallery, which organizes his plein air sessions and exhibitions.
In 2002, the artist was awarded the O. Ipai State Youth Prize of the Republic of Moldova in the field of Literature and Art.
In 2004, he was awarded an Honorary Diploma from the Society of Admirers of Russian Painting.
Since 2005, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
In 2005, he was awarded a Diploma from the Russian Academy of Arts.
In 2008, an album of his watercolors was published.
In June 2009, he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Mari El".
In 2013, he was awarded the title of Laureate of the A.V. Grigoryev State Prize of the Republic of Mari El in the field of Fine Arts.
In 2017, he was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merits to Mari El".
In October 2022, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Arts of the Russian Federation".
He has been awarded diplomas from the Union of Artists of Russia.
Sergey Aldushkin's works are part of the main exhibition of the Mari Museum of Fine Arts (Yoshkar-Ola), in the collections of the Museum of Landscape of the State Plyos Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve, the V.D. Polenov State Historical-Art Museum-Reserve, in the art collections of the Valaam Monastery, the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, and in collections of admirers of Russian painting, as well as in art museums of institutions in Kolomna, Sarov, Kozmodemyansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Bolshoye Boldino, and in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
He is a regular participant in all-Russian and international plein air sessions, exhibitions, and master classes.
