About me
Alfiya Galiullina is a painter and graphic artist, born on September 11, 1981, in Moscow, Russia.
Painting has been a passion that has accompanied her since childhood.
In 2007 she moved to Italy, where she currently lives and works in Parma, dedicating her time to artistic research and painting.
Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote:
“Art is a necessity of the human being, just like eating and drinking.
The need to show beauty through creativity is inseparable from the person.”
Alfiya deeply recognizes herself in these words: painting is for her an essential space, a way of being in the world.
Her artistic research grows out of careful observation of everyday life and a desire to express not only the emotions of living, but also traces of experience, memories, impressions, and inner images preserved in the soul.
Her figurative painting, guided by color, is inspired by nature and light, which she considers central and inexhaustible elements of her work.
Although she has a background in graphic design, over time she has come to understand that color exists everywhere — even where it seems absent, even in shadow.
Through watercolor, she conveys the beauty of nature and its quiet way of revealing itself.
