Shadiya Ibrahim

A late starter and an avid painter, my work explores the relationship between experience and colour through expressive brushstrokes. Working primarily with watercolour, I layer washes to capture moments drawn from travel, work, and quiet days of holidaying. My process is intuitive, allowing the paint to lead me toward unexpected forms and compositions. Through these works, I hope to evoke lived moments and invite viewers to connect and interpret them through their own experiences.
