About me
My name is Xinia Matamoros Quirós, I am a watercolor painter from Costa Rica.
At a very young age I chose watercolor as my favorite technique. It allows me the freedom of water and color moving through the paper.
I enjoy using strong colors, but at the same time, I love the transparency effects the technique allows; it grants me the freedom of a constant internal dialogue that is captured on paper.
I also have the joy of being an art teacher, it makes me happy to witness the results in my students, who have also fallen in love with the technique.
