I have been passionate about the visual arts for as long as I can remember; however, it was in 2019, when I first worked with watercolor, that I found the medium that changed everything for me. Through it, I achieved a balance between the realism I had always sought and the expressiveness and fluidity that only watercolor can offer.
Since then, guided by curiosity, I have developed a self-taught watercolor practice, finding in animal portraiture a subject through which to explore personality, presence, and authenticity.
In 2025, I participated for the first time in an exhibition and competition as part of the international Rivers of Color Festival in Mexico City, where my work "Dynca en casa" was awarded Best in Show.
Currently, my work exists at the intersection of the precision of realism and the inherent fluidity of watercolor, approaching animal portraiture through observation, sensitivity, and respect for the subject.
