My name is Marion Hughes. I reside in Queensland, Australia. I have been painting for well over 30 years. My main subjects to paint are native wildlife and birds. Flowers, portraits and now Contemporary Landscape and seascapes

I am very passionate about the subjects I choose to paint and always give an insight to what I am depicting in the work I present. 

My study and learning process has been self taught with help from attending workshops to hone my skills and ideas.

Having lived in Australia for over 30 years, I have become very aware of the beautiful and diverse landscape this beautiful country has to offer and this lends itself to painting the vivid natural colours this land has to offer.
