Thomas W. Schaller AWS NWS TWSA ASAI is an award-winning artist, architect, and author based in New York City. He received a Graham Foundation Grant and is a two-time recipient of the Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize. He has authored three books; the AIA award winner, Architecture in Watercolor ; The Art of Architectural Drawing ,and  Thomas W. Schaller, Architect of Light : Watercolor Paintings by a Master - Penguin /Random House. Artist Network Television produced two best-selling series of instructional Videos and DVDs of his technique and Streamline Video has produced a new DVD of his process in 2020. He is currently conducting a year-long, online, interactive curriculum with Terracotta LLC 2022

A Signature Member of many arts organizations including the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, and Transparent Watercolor Society, elected a member of the International Masters of Watercolor Alliance,  appointed to the Advisory Board of Streamline Media, Terracotta LLC, American Watercolor, and elected Artist Member of the California Art Club and the Salmagundi Art Club, NYC. He is president emeritus of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators and a founding member of the group; North American Watercolor Artists. His work is exhibited and collected around the world. </
