The lines and shapes of the gray rock have been my subject for over a decade. The changing color and light phenomena of the archipelago have taught me to see the world with new eyes. Watercolor conveys the landscape of the outer archipelago in a simplified and unobtrusive way. Watercolors are a suitable tool for difficult terrain.
I had paint with watercolors since 2018. From 1996 to 2017 I worked as a graphic artist at Finnish Broadcastin Company (Yle). I graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design as a graphic designer where I later studied multimedia. For a long time, the graphic artist's work satisfied the need for creation and image production.I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree 2013 from the Turku Art Academy. I am candidate member of the Painters' Union and take part in the Artist Register. I live and work in Pori.
