From early childhood on I have enjoyed drawing and painting. As a youngster I used opaque colours.

Later on I have been interested in the watercolour technique. Now I prefer watercolours appreciating

their transparency and brightness.

I like to paint in the open country. The change of seasons and the variety of nature are a strong motive

for painting plein air landscapes.

I am fond of biking along the Danube and hiking in the mountains. From there I get most of the

inspiration for my watercolour paintings.
