Günther F. Schurk

Nickname: Gügün
Country: Germany - Role: Artist

I`ve been familar with water colors since I was a child.

At the beginning of my architecture studies I discovered painting with aquarell colors. I was particular impressed by the depictions of the details of greek tempels by Leo von Klenze at the architecture archive at the Technical University of Munich, the landscapes of Johann Georg von Dillis and the watercolors of my teacher Alexander von Branca.

Watercolor painting has always been an important tool in my architectural work. Painting landscapes by the sea was always the best way to relax.

I have been a member of FabrianoinAcquarello since 2020. In 2021 I will be able to exhibit my first watercolor for Germany in Fabriano.

My paintery destination is to achieve watercolor technique where impressive motifs can be represented with few brush strokes.
