Sudhi S Pooniyil is a passionate watercolour artist based in Brighton, UK. Born in Alleppey, an elegant small town in Kerala, India, nature and the life of people have always been a fascinating subject and inspiration for his visual language. He started painting at an early age inspired by the beauty of his lush green surroundings then gradually found his unique style in watercolour by regular practice and dedication. His works have recognised internationally and purchased by private collectors around the world. He travels widely with his sketchbook to capture the light and stillness of the nature. His paintings are a regular participant at international watercolour festivals and exhibitions. He is currently an active member of SAA(Society for All Arts,England) and IWS(International Watercolour Society).
