He studied at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Western Macedonia and he completed postgraduate studies in Museology and Cultural management in the Department of Architecture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During the last three years he has been working as a deputy art teacher at primary school.

He is interested in the meaning and the sense in which the materials are culturally and inherently charged. In his artworks he often refers to the concept of nature and the bipolar relation between nature and culture. He prefers mixing watercolors with handmade pigments made from soil, ash, clay, arabic gum and last but not least water.
