The heart and veins sustain the body, embodying a delicate balance essential to life. My chosen subject, “Heart of Veins,” captures this vital relationship, where the heart serves as the engine and the veins act as conduits in a black-and-white world. To me, Toufiqur Rahman, the heart and veins are metaphors for life’s intricate systems. In my vision, the heart operates like a steam engine, while the veins stretch out like train tracks, ensuring smooth communication throughout the body—much like networks connect a nation. This synchronized motion sustains the flow of nutrients, maintaining connections both near and far. Just as harmonious communication is essential for social and economic growth, so too is the connection between artists and their creations. My artwork, crafted on handmade paper with transparent watercolours, blends geometric and organic forms, creating a universal expression that resonates across culture, education, and society. This work celebrates the importance of connectivity in all facets of life, revealing the beauty in interdependence.
