Graduated from Moscow State University of Printing Arts and Artschool for Youth traditional watercolor technique.

Member of German Watercolor Community "DAG" and Federal Association of Visual Artists "BBK Bonn"

Working since 1986 as a freelance artist and pictuer book illustartor aswell as an art teacher whilte holding occasional international art exhibitions.

Took over leadership in the studio community for artists "DieKunststation" in Bonn (2011)

Irene Gravender is an art teacher privately and in a comprehensive school in 5-8 classes.

Since 1995 she lives with her family in Germany.
