ABA – Brazilian Watercolor Association was created by IOLE DI NATALE in 1987 as a group of artists called “NUCLEO DE AQUARELISTAS”, and in 2006 this group changed its name to ABA as it is today.
Our association represents “FABRIANOINACQUARELLO” in Brazil.
During our 33 years, we have been working to spread the ART of WATERCOLOR not only in BRAZIL but also in several countries of Europe, Asia, North, Central and South America.
2020 brought us the new era of ART ONLINE EVENTS and ABA has been very active for its associates and also for internationals artists according to the exhibits that we have created.
Our VIRTUAL exhibitions are on YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK.
ABA realizes several exhibits every year or takes part in exhibitions made by other association in Brazil and abroad.
In March 03, we opened our exhibit “ ABA 33 ANOS “ and launched the catalogue of the event at the “IN GALLERY” in São Paulo.( 03/03/ to 17/03/2020)
In August 15, we opened the itineration at the “PINACOTECA BENEDICTO CALIXTO, at the city of Santos. ( 15/08 to 30/09/2020 ).
Our associates use to get together once a month but during the isolation we have been in contact through the events online.
